Lab 15 Reflection Journal

          So todays lab was actually a two parter their were actually two goals of the lab in which we needed to complete to get full credit. So the first part of the lab was to create a clock on the webpage in which the user can see and it must have had the actual time. To create this the teacher showed us exactly how and what we needed to actually create a working clock that is available to the user. After completing the first part of the project we needed to start the second part which was to create buttons which can be activated not by click but by pressinv a specific key on the keyboard and when used they make a specific sound which corresponds with the button. I manage to complete this and added meme sounds which was pretty fun to do.
          The skills gained from the lab can be utilized in my other works to make it more unique and more user interactive

What Does a CTE Diploma Means to Me?

            What diplomas can students receive in High School? There are different diplomas that students in High School can get but for each one they have different standards in order to achieve them. One of the diplomas that a student can receive is a Regents diploma this is the basic diploma students need to graduate High School with and can receive. The Advanced Regents diploma is a diploma that students can aim for while in High School this diploma is for students who have a taken more regents and whose grades exceed those of regular students. To get the Regents diploma, a student needs 8 English credits, 8 S.S credits, 6 Math  credits, 6 Science credits, 2 credits in LOTE, 4 credits in PE, 1 credit in Health, 2 credits in Art and 7 elective credits. CS Fair Reflection Journal

Taken from the CS Fair website             Today we the Web Design academy had the opportunity to go to the CS Fair held within the Armory Track. At first before the entire trip even started I was wondering what we might see at this event and I really wasn't prepared for what was actually there. Once we got to the location I was astonished to see how many people actually went and even how many companies, colleges, etc were there at the fair. The place was massive and there was so many things to do, people to talk to and I was dumbfounded in where to start. The first thing I did during the fair was try the different activities they had to offer including playing with lights, driving a robot which was created to complete in a competition and was built in around 30 days which was extremely impressive.
