WBL Mock Interview Workshop

Okay so like today got me a bit nervous because of the mock interview workshop scheduled but I knew that today's main goal was to help me better improve my interview skills to prepare me for the future job interviews I would have. When I first came into the classroom I saw just as last time that the chairs were arranged so that we would all be split up into groups so we can be interviewed by a teacher who volunteered to help. The teacher who came to my group was Mrs. Sakhno and I was relieved because she is someone I know as she taught me the previous year and the current year and I felt a bit better. When it was my turn to be interviewed I did surprisingly better than last time and surprised myself and i'm grateful for the feedback I received because it all helped me see that I need to improve in some areas when speaking towards the interviewer. She also taught me that when a job doesn't feel right it's okay to walk away from the interview and that I should only take and or pursue a job that fulfills my passion and feels right.
The overall workshop she more light upon how I want to present myself to future clients or employers. I want to sell myself, my skills, my passion and that even though sometimes I may fail here and there that it's not the end but only one door closing and many more opening. Failure in interview isn't the end it's the opposite it's more paths clearing up and waiting for you to walk upon. The mock interview inspired me to not only believe in myself more and what I have to offer but to also know just cause one says no to you doesn't mean your whole life is at its end its just the beginning.
